Victory Christian Church LED Wall Install
Victory Christian Church partnered with Panavid to upgrade the visual experience within their worship environment with the installation of a large-format, high-resolution LED display.
The project centered around creating a bright, immersive, and reliable visual platform capable of supporting worship services, presentations, video content, lyrics, and other church programming. With a 30-foot-wide by 16.5-foot-tall LED wall, the new display provides a substantial visual presence while maintaining the image quality needed for both large-format content and detailed on-screen information.
THE CHALLENGE
For a modern worship environment, the ability to clearly communicate visual content is essential. Lyrics, announcements, graphics, video, and live camera feeds all need to remain visible and engaging from across the room.
The church’s current projection screens were not fitting their needs anymore. Victory Christian Church came to us looking for a new LED display.
A large-format solution needed to provide more than simply increased size. It needed to deliver consistent image quality and a professional appearance across the entire display.
The project also required a solution that could integrate naturally into the church environment while providing the scale necessary to create a more immersive visual experience for the congregation.
THE SOLUTION
Panavid sourced and installed a 30-foot-wide by 16.5-foot-tall LED video wall featuring a 2.6mm pixel pitch.
The fine 2.6mm pixel pitch provides a high level of image detail, allowing text, graphics, photography, and video content to remain clear and visually consistent throughout the display. Unlike projection-based systems, the LED display provides a bright, high-contrast image without relying on a projection surface. This allows content to maintain strong visibility and color consistency across a wide range of viewing and lighting conditions.
The 30' × 16.5' display provides approximately 495 square feet of LED canvas, creating an immersive visual platform capable of filling the congregation's large field of view without relying on multiple smaller displays. The wall is clear from the front row all the way to the back of the balcony.
The wall was installed on a ground supported truss system, drilled and bolted into the concrete stage. Since the wall is free standing, it was imperative that it would be secure while people are walking near or around it. Parts of the base were shimmed up to make sure it was perfectly level. Safety cables connected to the solid structure provided additional support from above, although invisible to the audience.
