Scenic Carpenter

Salary: $30 - $35 per hour
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Scenic Carpenter who balances shop fabrication with meticulous inventory management. You will be responsible for building high-end Stage Elements while overseeing the tracking and maintenance of our non-wood assets (AV Drop modular set pieces, pipe and drape systems, and Covers for AV products) using UBS R2.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Fabrication: Build and finish bespoke elements designed to beautify AV deployments, stage fascia, custom steps and truss covers.
Quality Control: Ensure all scenic elements meet aesthetic standards before shipping and perform routine maintenance on returning stock.
Inventory Control: Track, scan and manage hardware, fabrics and AV-Related Accessories.
Organization: Manage the logistics of “Non-Fab” items, Ensuring they are prepped for shows and correctly reconciled upon return to the warehouse.
Skills & Qualifications
Carpentry: Proven experience in scenic construction, including proficiency with power tools, adhesives and various finishes.
Software: Proficiency in UBS R2(or similar ERP Systems) is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Docs is preferred.
Detail Oriented: Ability to distinguish between technical components and maintain high organizational standards.
Adaptability: Comfortable shifting between a “builder” mindset and a “logistics” mindset
Forklift Certified is preferred
OSHA Knowledge is preferred
